Research start from 90s, CSSRC offered its first energy-saving device in 2005 for one 105,000DWT aframax bunker. Development of their excellent performance in fuel savings and emission reduction, CMES brand energy-saving devices launched and are highly welcomed by owners. An energy-saving guarantee is the baseline for each contract. Upon own test pool, CMES does considerable verification tests to optimize the design to best, not only simulation (CFD) calculation on computer.CMES brand energy-saving devices, have no moving parts, easy installation for both newbuilding and retrofit.
● PSV consists of a wkae improving duct combined with several pre-swirl vanes position in front of propeller;
● PSV can correct the flow into the propeller which essentially reduces the rotational losses in the propeller slipstream and increase the flow velocity towards the inner radius of the propeller. The geometry shape of HVAF is very simple, and HVAF can be installed behind the propeller easily as original boss cap, which rotates together with the propeller.
