BTZ Surface Drive adjusts the water immersion depth of propeller by hydraulic cylinder to make it operate near the water surface that eliminates cavitation in turn to reduce erosion. With no underwater shaft and strut, BTZ Surface Drive reduces craft drag sufficiently, to get quicker acceleration, a higher speed and a better power ratio. The specialized scheme design makes the performance matching of the ship - engine - propeller with the device better. The efficient vector thrust makes the boat more stable, faster and more flexible in actual operation. BTZ Surface Drive features a simple and robot design, with less moving parts, and results in a very low maintenance cost.
